Common teleconsult questions.
How much does an online doctor consultation cost in Singapore?
Our teleconsult fee is $15 nett, which covers the GP video consultation. Medication is charged only as used, and same-day delivery starts from $8. A digital MC is issued when medically appropriate, at no extra charge.
How long do I have to wait to see a doctor?
Most patients connect with a doctor within 0-15 minutes. The live queue runs 9am-1pm on weekdays; the care team can send a live wait-time estimate over WhatsApp.
Can I get an MC, and is a digital MC (DigiMC) valid in Singapore?
Yes. If you are assessed to be medically unfit for work or school, the doctor can issue a digital medical certificate. DigiMCs from Singapore Medical Council-registered doctors are recognised for sick leave, subject to the usual employer verification. An MC is a clinical decision and is never guaranteed before assessment.
What can and cannot be treated through a teleconsult?
Teleconsults suit common, non-severe problems such as cough, cold, sore throat, fever, stomach flu, mild skin conditions, allergies, UTIs and chronic-disease follow-up. They are not for emergencies: chest pain, severe breathlessness, stroke-like symptoms, severe abdominal pain or heavy bleeding need urgent in-person care.
Is teleconsult legal and regulated in Singapore?
Yes. Teleconsultation is licensed under the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA). Our doctors are registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and we operate under MOH licence R/23M1175/MDS/001/232. You can verify any licensed provider in the HealthHub directory.
Can I use MediSave or CHAS for an online consultation?
Not for acute illness like a cold or cough — those teleconsults are paid privately. MediSave and CHAS Chronic subsidy apply only to video follow-ups of chronic conditions under the CDMP, and only if you have seen the doctor in person within the last 12 months.
How fast is medication delivery?
When medication is prescribed, same-day delivery arrives within 6 hours, with an express option within 3 hours for an additional $5. You receive your medication directly — for many viral illnesses, rest and fluids may be all that is needed.
Do I need to download an app to consult a doctor?
No. You can consult through your browser — just tap Consult now. The service is also available on iOS and Android if you prefer an app.
